As part of our project, we took our Green Ambassadors to the heart of Eskişehir’s energy production: the Integrated Solid Waste Disposal and Energy Generation Plant in Odunpazarı Sarısungur. 🏭⚡️
We witnessed firsthand how 900 tons of daily domestic waste is transformed into 7.8 megawatts of electricity, powering tens of thousands of homes.
From methane gas combustion to advanced bio-waste management, we explored the vital role these modern facilities play in creating a cleaner, greener future.
